Michele Chowrimootoo is a drummer and percussionist working with both children and adults as a tutor and performer. She is a co-writer of the ‘Shukalaka Shake’ and ‘Heard On The Wind’ Everyday Magic CDs, and regularly arranges and writes music for Everyday Magic.
Charlotte Higgs (violinist) has been particularly drawn towards theatre and storytelling. She has performed at the National Theatre and works regularly with Everyday Magic, with whom she improvises as part of the storytelling and workshops. Charlie has performed in West End shows and with the English Touring Opera on their spring tours for the past four years. Charlie is committed to passing on her musical skills and enjoyment to young people. She tutors the Haringey Young Musicians’ Symphony Orchestra and coaches on the prestigious European Youth Summer Music.
Gina Streeks is the resident cellist for Everyday Magic and the London Shakespeare Workout. She also leads the cello sections for various orchestras including Connecting Arts and Arts and Charities Philharmonia. She frequently performs with a range of groups for events such as Pride of Britain Awards. Gina enjoys arranging music and her clients include the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Duran Duran and Kanye West.
Hugo Terva is a French drummer and percussionist who came to London to study music. After graduating, he worked with a wide range of artists and bands, recording, touring and exploring new ways to play and perform. The latest being Everyday Magic, where storytelling accompaniment and working with children has proven both interesting and refreshing
